On Wednesday June 14 opened the 41st edition of Art Basel Switzerland, betting this time on favoring the acquisition of quality works in a context of economic crisis, showing pieces of 2,500 artists from 37 countries. Our magazine Arte por Excelencias is being displayed and distributed in the collective stand of publications of this event (z28). For visitors to Art Basel is the chance to see historical items that will go into the hands of collectors, as well as contemporary art, especially photography.
Pinta III: Latin American Art Fair
The third edition of the Program for Museum Acquisitions will be promoted in the context of Pinta art fair this year. The program encourages the purchase of Latin American art in the exhibition by leading museums. Some of the institutions invited to participate in this initiative arethe Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, the Harvard Art Museum, the Museo del Barrio of New York, Tamayo Museum in Mexico City, the Tate Gallery in London and the Pinacoteca in Sao Paulo.
Eighth edition of Art Basel Miami Beach
The eighth edition of Art Basel Miami Beach, which will take place from December 3 to 6, 2009, will feature more than 250 galleries, including some of the most prestigious in the world. It includes works of over 2000 artists of the XX and XXI centuries and special sections devoted to very recent art, as well as curated exhibitions, performances and art in public spaces.
Arte por Excelencias Presentations
During the VIII Art Basel Fair, at the Spirit of Art Gallery, located at 152 900, South Miami Avenue, Mary Brickell Village, No 4 of Arte por Excelencias magazine will be presented on December 2 at 8:30 pm. Also will be presented and distributed at the campus bookstore of III Pinta Fair the No. 3. The magazines promote the work of important Latin American artists, and specialized art events in the region.
Arte por Excelencias in Mexico
From Wednesday 14 until Friday April 30, 2010 will take place at Centro Banamex the seventh edition of ZONAMACO: Mexico Arte Contemporaneo, confirming its presence as one of the most important platforms for sale and art exhibit on the continent.
